MANOS LINCE AWARDS
FRANCISCO JOSE VIEGAS LINCE, and its president Francesco Lince, had the first contact with producing olive oil back in the 1980, since then he, alongside his company became producers with international distinction.
Initially (from 1980) olive oil was “dispensed to people, was not sold and had no label”, says Francisco Lince, adding that “as they called me and my brother brothers Lince, when we thought about creating a brand, it was this is the chosen name ”.
Since 2008, the brand has been registered and currently the 'other' brother is dedicated to the production of wines and it is Francisco who deals with the quality of olive oil, which is also asserting itself in foreign markets.
Of the 150,000 liters of oil it sells, about 35% goes to half the Brazilian market and the other half to European countries.
It should be noted, as a curiosity, that Francisco Viegas has been making cosmetic articles with olive oil for personal use for more than a decade, thus posing the possibility that in the future it will become a new business aspect.
